: poetry :
Contained within these pages are some of my musings that take
the form of poetry. I'm no poet, and being dyslexic English
is quite a struggle at the best of times (as you will be
aware from the plethora of spelling mistakes littering these
pages). That being said I do enjoy writing and using language
to express myself, writing my various blogs is really quite
rewarding (though mostly so that I can look back on my own
life's ramblings). Perhaps it's because English is still such
a mystery mixed with my round-a-bout way of thinking that
results in some rather obtuse wordplay at times. And very
occasionally I feel inspired to turn my mind to poetry.
So use the navigation on the left to browse this modest
complete works of Nicholas Bailey and take a wonder into
another side of me, a less cohesive more abstract side. These
are all words by me, if you see them anywhere else on the web
do let me know. And please don't go and plagiarise me. It's
not really worth it.
Poetry labelled [ WiP ] are 'Work in Progress' pieces
that may at some point change (or more likely not).
Enter stranger or friend.
Take a seat and rest.
Whether you know me or not.
Here you can learn.
Through words on these pages.
Hear my thoughts.
See me again from another side.
Who am I to be with someone like you
just a nameless nobody sitting in the crowd
I long for time to spend worth you
I hope against hope for your touch
To feel needed by you as I feel I need you.
But why me? What do I have to give?
