The Romantic

romance is dead, so the papers say
but not with this man

i'd go on moon-lit waterfront walks
cook special meals for two
spend lazy afternoons curled up
when the weather gives it's all
celebrate New Year with a kiss
and then enjoy the wintry bliss

if only I had someone to be romantic with
if only they knew
